After the ebullience and effervescence of the design festivals that took London by storm in the last fortnight, Michael Eastman, one of the world’s leading contemporary photographic artists, bring us on this Friday much-needed serenity and contemplation with his urban landscapes. The self-taught American photographer captures the colors and textures of the passing of time and his photographs of a world of faded glory, crumbling grandeur and decaying prosperity evoke nostalgia and retain stupendous bygone beauty despite the decaying nature of the interiors.
